Garden design · Planting · Seasonal care

Gardens that
grow into
themselves.

We design, plant and look after outdoor spaces built on native grasses, hardy perennials and honest stone, so they look better in year three than on day one.

Our approach

Less lawn.
More life.

Junebark is a small design-and-build crew. We start with your soil, sun and how you actually use the yard, then plant for it. Expect fewer thirsty surfaces, more pollinators, and a planting plan you can read. When the work is finished, we can stay on for seasonal care or hand you a simple maintenance calendar.

Services

What we do

01

Garden design

A scaled plan, a plant list and a phased budget, so you can build it all at once or over a few seasons.

From $450
02

Planting & install

Bed prep, soil amendment, drip irrigation, planting and mulch. Native and drought-tolerant palettes by default.

Quoted per project
03

Stone & paths

Flagstone paths, dry-laid walls, gravel gardens and simple steps that drain properly and sit right in the landscape.

Quoted per project
04

Seasonal care

Spring cutback, summer edits, fall cleanup that leaves seed heads for the birds. Monthly or by the visit.

From $95 / visit

The garden year

Something to look forward to, every season.

Spring

Cutback, divide and replant. The best time to start a new bed.

Summer

Irrigation checks, deadheading and light edits as the planting fills in.

Fall

Prime planting weather. Bulbs in, trees in, leaves kept where they help.

Winter

Design season. We walk sites, draw plans and book spring installs.

Concept work

Ideas we love to build

Front-yard meadow: lawn swapped for grasses, coneflower and a gravel path.
Dry-laid wall and flagstone patio with a planted top course.
Gravel garden: no mowing, minimal water, all-season structure.

Illustrations show design concepts, not completed client projects.

Process

How a project runs

  1. Site walk

An hour on site to look at sun, soil, drainage and what you want from the space.

  2. Plan

A drawn plan, plant list and line-item estimate. Revise it until it fits.

  3. Build

One crew lead start to finish, with a daily note on progress.

  4. Grow

A care calendar, or ongoing visits from the people who planted it.
